Yes. "Partner-in-Time" is a home-based, secretarial service that specializes in Word Processing. We produce academic Documents such as dissertations, research and term papers, and theses. We are knowledgeable with APA and MLA formatting as well as other types of formatting. Other documents we produce include business forms, legal forms, manuscripts, transcriptions, statistical reports, tables and charts, and the like. We also perform typing projects such as applications, contracts, and forms. And to put the finishing touches on your project, we perform Secretarial Services such as binding, copies, faxes, media storage, and carbonless forms. Our Pick-Up & Delivery service is provided to receive and send your project in a timely manner. "Partner-in-Time" is capable of performing any Word Processing project you desire. We have the right to refuse any project for any reason. Let us know how we may assist you and we will try to accommodate you.

Unfortunately, we do not create documents or transcribe in other languages. We are not affluent in other languages other than English. However, "Partner-in-Time" has been especially helpful to those who speak English as a second language; many have shown great improvement in their grades as well as learning the English language.

6A. Do you provide workers to go on-site?
No. All projects are performed in our office to provide you with fast, accurate service on an as-needed basis while helping you eliminate overhead, training, payroll, etc. that could be very costly to you.

7A. How can my project be submitted to you?
If your project is a typed draft or MP3 file, it can be e-mailed. Otherwise, your project can be faxed, mailed or delivered to our office. Please view our Pick-Up & Delivery service for the different methods to send your project.

8A. Do you require a deposit?
A deposit is only for projects that indicate a required deposit (please see the requirements for each project for details). Deposits are not required for business forms, downloadable legal forms, transcriptions or typing. If a deposit is required, it is usually for projects that are 50 pages or more, a non-refundable fee of 20% of the approximate cost of the project, and required prior to beginning your project. "Partner-in-Time" finds it necessary to require a deposit for large projects to show good faith in your dedication in completing your project, and in consideration of the time "Partner-in-Time" invests in producing your project. The balance is due upon completion and before submission of your project. An agreement for your signature will also be required.

9A. What is your turnaround time in finalizing my project?
The turnaround time to finalize your project depends upon:
* the size of your project
* the clarity of your documentation and/or recording device
* when you submit the project
* when you need the project
Our Calendar is made available to help you schedule and set a deadline for your finalized project. We can discuss the turnaround time once the size of the project and the deadline is determined. We try to get your project(s) back to you as quickly as possible. But because we do have other projects, we ask that you allow us 48-72 hours, or sooner, for most minor projects. (Please take into consideration that your project will not be forwarded to you until payment has been paid in full.) RUSH jobs are projects requested within 24 hours and will incur an additional 50% of the cost of your project. Please Contact Us and let us know if you need a RUSH to make sure that we can accommodate you in the allotted time. RUSH jobs may also increase mailing costs as indicated in our Pick-Up & Delivery service. For local residents or businesses, please Contact Us for drop off and Pick-Up times available to you.

10A. Are projects kept confidential?
Yes. Like your personal secretary, all projects are kept confidential. For security and confidential purposes, a Written Consent is required if you desire to drop off or pick up your project, authorize another to drop off or pick up your project, or if you desire us to send your finalized project to others via e-mail, fax, mail or express mail. We will send you this form to be signed, dated and faxed when you are ready to submit your completed draft. Just let us know how you want us to receive your project, how you want your project delivered, and/or if you desire others to receive your project when it is finalized. For local residents or businesses, a copy of the written consent must be presented in order for the project to be released. Please Contact Us for available times for Drop-Off and Pick-Up.

11A. How can I receive my project?
"Partner-in-Time" can forward your completed project by:

* Electronic Mail (E-Mail) attachment
* Hard Copy
Hard copies or CDs can be mailed, delivered, or picked up. Faxing is not recommended due to poor quality. However, if you would like to have your project faxed, we will accommodate you. Please see our Secretarial Services for finishing touches for hard copies and media storage fees, and our Pick-Up & Delivery service for additional fees which will be added to the cost of your project, unless your project is being picked up. For security and confidential purposes, a Written Consent is required if you desire to drop off or pick up your project, authorize another to drop off or pick up your project, or if you desire us to send your finalized project to others via e-mail, fax, mail or express mail. Please note that projects must be paid in full prior to submission.

12A. What type of services do you offer within your secretarial service?
"Partner-in-Time" offers Secretarial Services such as binding, copies, media storage, faxing, and carbonless forms. Please note that secretarial services are only provided to finalize your project. These services are not offered on a separate or daily basis of performance. We also offer express mail services as indicated in our Pick-Up & Delivery service. Additional fees will be added to the cost of your project. Projects must be paid in full prior to submission.

13A. Can you perform other services besides the ones listed?
Although "Partner-in-Time" specializes in Word Processing, we are capable of performing other projects such as PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, database reports, and the like as indicated About Us. If you have any suggestions or services that you are interested in, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. If we are able to accommodate you, fees and turnaround time will have to be determined on a case-by-case basis depending upon project requested as well as time permitted to perform these projects. 14A. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Diner's Club), debit/check cards, money orders, cashier's check, and checks. For money orders, cashier's check, and checks, submission of your project can not be forwarded until payment(s) has cleared.

15A. For projects charged by the hour, is the cost prorated if less than an hour?
The cost is not prorated for the first hour. If a project is being charged as $25 an hour, the minimum cost for the first hour will be $25. However, if time exceeds an hour, cost will be prorated in increments of 15 minutes after the first hour. Please see Documents for details.
For example:
If a project is rated at $25 an hour and it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete,
the cost would be: $31.25
($25 + 6.25 = $31.25; 25 / 4 = 6.25 so 15 minutes = 6.25).
If the project takes 1 hour and 25 minutes,
the cost would be: $37.50
($25 + 12.50 = $37.50; 15 minutes = 6.25 so 25 minutes = 6.25 x 2 = 12.50).

16A. Can I make payments?
Yes, we do accept payments for large projects. However, the deposit, which is non-refundable, and any express mail fees for Pick-Up are due prior to beginning your project. Also excluded are the downloadable legal forms which must be purchased on-line. Otherwise, we can accept payments that are conducive to your needs. These payments can also be paid with more than one of the different method of payments that we offer. "Partner-in-Time" understands that some projects may be very large and, therefore, costly. We are willing to accommodate you to continue to help save you time and money. Nevertheless, submission of your project will be held until payment is paid in full. Because "Partner-in-Time" provides a word processing service which involves time invested, it can be difficult to determine how much is refundable; the time cannot be regained. 2B. What do I need to do to get started?
To get started, please log in and fill in your general information (Privacy Policy) and submit to us with a brief explanation of how we can assist you. Legal Forms may be downloaded immediately. If you desire "Partner-in-Time" to fill in the blanks for the legal forms you choose, we do charge a minimum fee of $25 (per hour) for editing (most forms will not exceed $25). Just complete the form(s) and Contact Us to resubmit to us. We will finalize your document(s) and submit the final product upon clearance of payment.
Please do the following for all other Documents after logging in:
1. Prepare a completed draft (see Documents for details)
2. Log in and submit your general information with a brief explanation
3. If required, a contract will be submitted for your signature regarding the document you desire

"Partner-in-Time" considers checking for grammar and spelling and sentence structure as part of formatting when producing dissertations, research and term papers, and theses as well as the formal formatting (i.e., APA, MLA, etc.) required. However, the research and writing is up to you. We are especially helpful to those who speak English as a second language.

4B. Is there an extra fee to check for spelling and grammar?
No, "Partner-in-Time" automatically checks for spelling and grammar as part of formatting. Our objective is to help you make your project as cohesive as possible with what you are discussing at the time. This is why we are especially helpful to those who speak English as a second language; speaking and writing a different language often makes it difficult to convey what one is saying properly in English.

5B. Do you provide a student discount?
Yes. "Partner-in-Time" provides a 20% student discount for academic papers as a way of contributing to the future of our world. Having had the experience of being a student, the proprietor of "Partner-in-Time" understands the financial pressures that students face with the mounting tuition costs and economic crises we all are enduring. Payments are also accepted to assist with your project in an affordable way. A copy of your student card and current enrollment is required.

6B. Can I resubmit my completed project for editing?
Yes. "Partner-in-Time" understands that some projects are so large that editing is inevitable. Please review your entire document, make any necessary changes, Contact Us to resubmit your project to us, and we will make the appropriate changes. "Partner-in-Time" also assists with organizing your document for transition and flow.
Because these changes will most likely change the format of your project (i.e., Table of Contents, repagination, etc.), we do charge $20 per hour to make these revisions. When all is done, we can assure you a professional and presentable document. To determine how you want to receive your completed project (i.e., CD, e-mail attachment, hard copy and/or express service), please see our Secretarial Services and Pick-Up & Delivery for any other options we may have to offer.

8B. What is the difference between the business forms and the legal forms?
The Business Forms are forms that are created and customized specifically for your business. You are the author. "Partner-in-Time" can create new forms for new businesses, recreate or update existing forms, or totally create new forms to redefine your business. Just provide a draft of your existing forms with revisions or an outline of information needed to create new forms.
The Legal Forms are legal documents that are generally used by lawyers to assist their clients. The legal documents are in a fill-in-the-blank type format and are downloadable. They are designed to assist those who seek to pursue their legal issues with the proper legal documents as well as save their attorneys time and themselves money. Some of the legal forms are self-explanatory and some are very complicated. "Partner-in-Time" does not offer any legal advice. Therefore, we suggest you have your attorney review the form(s) you choose to make sure that you choose the proper form for the proper situation. Once you have your attorney's approval, we can proceed by making your legal form(s) complete.
We can also provide you with copies of your new forms. Duplicate or triplicate carbonless forms are also available for the business forms and legal forms that will be used on a regular basis. Please see our Secretarial Services or Contact Us if you have any questions.

Yes. However, "Partner-in-Time" does not offer legal advice. We do offer these Legal Forms to help you help yourself as well as your attorney; they are generally used by lawyers and most can be found in your local office supply store. These forms are downloadable in a fill-in-the-blank type format. We can also assist you in filling in those blanks to make professional, presentable documents as if provided by your attorney. 11B. Must I pay for the downloadable forms with a credit card?
Credit cards, check cards and debit cards are acceptable. The only way you can retrieve the forms is by downloading them. In order for them to be made available for download, you must complete the credit card, check card, or debit card information and then submit your order. When you are finished, click "Done" (once you click "Done" you will no longer be able to retrieve the forms for download). Please select downloadable legal forms carefully. Once order is submitted, credit or debit card is charged. However, please Contact Us if you have any issues
However, if you desire "Partner-in-Time" to fill in the blanks, you are not restricted to paying with a credit card, check card, or debit card. Just fill in the blanks and Contact Us to resubmit for completion. We also accept cashier's checks, checks, and money orders for your completed forms. 12B. I am having problems downloading my form(s). What do I do?
It is suggested to write down the forms of your choice while adding to cart to prevent duplicates and to have a list in case you have problems downloading. If your form does not open right away, make sure there are no blocks. If your system is configured to block pop-ups, it will prompt you and ask your permission to receive the downloadable form. After you have given permission for access, it is recommended to save the document as opposed to opening the document. Either way you will have to save the document because it is in "Read-Only" format. If, after granting access, the form still does not open right away, close the browser or the screen where the form is to appear, and click on the form to download again. 13B. Can you fill in the blanks of the legal forms that I choose?
Yes. "Partner-in-Time" can fill in the blanks for you. Just download the chosen form(s), write in the required information in the blanks, resubmit to "Partner-in-Time," and we will make your document complete. A fee of a minimum of $25 (per hour) will be assessed, which includes inserting the new information provided and the reformatting of the document to accommodate this new information to make the document look clean and professional. Most documents will not exceed an hour ($25). If a document does exceed an hour, the minimum cost for the first hour will be $25, but the time thereafter will be prorated in increments of 15 minutes. 14B. What type of projects do you transcribe and how do you charge?
We can transcribe any project that is recorded: legal, medical, television, radio, etc. Recording devices for Transcription must be audible to save time and confusion and, therefore, save you money. With the exception of Medical Transcription, projects are charged as $15 per hour (doubled-spaced; single-spaced documents are charged as two pages). Because of the technicality and complexity of medical terminology, more time is involved. Therefore, medical transcriptions are charged as $25 per hour.

15B. What type of media can be used for transcription?
With the explosion of technology, there are many types of media that are used for recordings. "Partner-in-Time" can transcribe from mini and standard cassettes or digital recordings (i.e., digital software, CDs, DVDs, MP3 files and video). Recording devices for Transcription must be audible to save time and confusion and, therefore, save you money. To submit your recording device, please see our Pick-Up & Delivery service options and Contact Us.

16B. After transcribing my project, will you make sure it is grammatically correct?
Yes. Although some projects are needed to be transcribed "word for word," such as interviews, we can also make sure that your project is cohesive and grammatically correct at no additional cost. We understand that when recording a project these factors are not always considered when ad-libed.

17B. What type of projects require a typewriter?
There are many standard documents such as applications, contracts, proposals, and forms that are already formatted and require only filling in the blanks without recreating the entire document. "Partner-in-Time" can fill in these blanks for you (see Typing). There are other projects that may require a typewriter such as creating envelopes, or labels for mailings or files. If there are any projects you have that may require a typewriter, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you.

18B. Do you write resumes and cover letters?
We do not specialize in resume writing. However, we can type your resume and cover letter for you if you provide a completed copy. Unless provided, there will be additional fees for stationery as indicated in our Secretarial Services.

19B. Will you provide the materials for my projects?
"Partner-in-Time" provides the paper for your project, which is included in the cost, if you desire a hard copy. All other materials such as binding, copies, faxes, stationery, media storage and express mail services incur additional fees. For price list and/or information regarding these fees, please see our Secretarial Services and Pick-Up & Delivery service. Except for the deposit and pick-up fees that must be paid prior to beginning your project, these other additional fees will be added to the cost of your project. Your project must be paid in full prior to submission of your completed project.

20B. Do you keep a copy of my completed project on file?
We do normally keep a copy (i.e., CD) on file for storage and future reference. But if you wish for it not to be kept on file for confidential purposes, let us know and a file will not be kept. Additional copies can be forwarded to you depending upon the method of transport (Pick-Up & Delivery) or choose the type of media you desire for storage (Secretarial Services).

"Partner-in-Time" offers Secretarial Services such as binding, copies, media storage, faxing, and carbonless forms. Please note that secretarial services are only provided to finalize your project. These services are not offered on a separate or daily basis of performance. We also offer express mail services as indicated in our Pick-Up & Delivery service. Additional fees will be added to the cost of your project. Your project must be paid in full prior to submission.

"Partner-in-Time" provides the paper for your project, which is included in the cost, if you desire a hard copy. All other materials such as binding, copies, faxes, stationery, media storage and express mail services incur additional fees. For price list and/or information regarding these fees, please see our Secretarial Services and Pick-Up & Delivery service. Except for the deposit and pick-up fees that must be paid prior to beginning your project, these other additional fees will be added to the cost of your project. Your project must be paid in full prior to submission of your completed project.

4C. Can I have copies sent to other locations from your office?
Yes. "Partner-in-Time" can forward your completed project to other locations in the form of::
* Compact Disc (CD)
* Electronic Mail (E-Mail) attachment
* Hard Copy
Hard copies or CDs can be mailed, delivered, or picked up. Faxing is not recommended due to poor quality. However, if you would like to have your project faxed, we will accommodate you. For confidential purposes and to make sure the right parties receive your project(s), we would need your written consent along with the names and addresses that you desire these copies to be distributed. We will send you a form to be faxed or mailed. Please see our Secretarial Services for finishing touches for hard copies and/or media storage fees. Unless your project is being picked up, please see our Pick-Up & Delivery service for mailing fees which will also be added to the cost of your project. For local residents and businesses, if your project(s) is to be picked up, the "Authorized Receiver" is required to present a copy of the written consent in order for the project to be released. Please Contact Us for available times for Pick-Up or if you have any questions. Your project(s) must be paid in full prior to submission or distribution.

8D. Can I have someone other than myself pick up my project?
Yes. But for security and confidential purposes, your written consent will be required. We will send you a form to be signed, dated and faxed, indicating the person authorized to Pick-Up your project. The authorized person will also be required to sign, date and submit a copy of that signed form when picking up your project. This will hopefully ensure that your project is kept confidential and that you receive it.

Many projects can be sent electronically. However, "Partner-in-Time" offers Pick-Up and Delivery or shipping service through express mail services as an optional service for no additional cost. A written confirmation is required prior to scheduling for Pick-Up and/or Delivery for confirmation and approval. We will check all service providers to provide you with the most affordable service to help you save money. You will be notified of costs prior to picking up or delivering your project.
